The first item of our published
"Term and Conditions" is the following:
Dealer Qualification: GRAN PRIX is a supplier to bowling centers and bowling
pro shops. Dealers must operate a physical location open to the public.
Internet only businesses do not qualify as dealers.
As we all know, this policy
is only a starting point, mainly because some
internet dealers also operate physical pro shops. To cover those cases, our
policy is that we do not offer any price discount below our published price
list. Our best pricing is available to all pro shops; nothing lower is
available.
In the Spring 2005 issue
of Pro Shop Insider our ad appears on page 51. It
states in part, "GRAN PRIX does not solicit Internet business. Our published
price list is our only price list, so Internet dealers do not want to buy
from GRAN PRIX. They can get a much sweeter deal elsewhere. They know
where we stand. We started as a pro shop and now, over two decades later,
it is pro shops which have made GRAN PRIX successful. And, we try to help
our pro shop customers be successful. Take a look at our "Principles of

As part of trying to help
pro shops compete with the internet, we offer
